Shameless Promotion are proud to be involved in co-ordinating the first (of what we hope to be annual) 'Wales Stands Up For Velindre' week this October 10th-16th 2022. In light of the news of Rhod Gilbert's recent cancer diagnosis, and with the phenomenal fundraising Rhod himself has undertaken for Velindre in the past, headed by Gareth Morris, a group of comedians and promoters across the whole of South Wales have come together to organise a week of comedy fundraisers in aid of the fantastic work that Velindre Cancer Centre do.

As well as putting together two fantastic shows in the heart of Newport, Shameless Promotion have been working behind the scenes on the project, assisting in the project co-ordination and publicity efforts for what currently stands at twenty-three shows, with over 75 acts performing across the one-week period.
